Old traumas resurfacing are metaphors of the soul.
If the same issue comes up over and over again, instead of looking at the story connected to it, we can look at what is this re-occurring trauma trying to teach us. Often it’s better to be met with our same old demons again and again opposed to creating new traumas and tragedies in our life so we can learn new lessons.
